The Trust has arranged another of its very popular Heritage Open Days in the iconic Market House. This is now our third event and will be held on
Saturday, 16 May 2026
11am until 2pm
A lot has changed since it was the Town’s Library and if you haven’t been inside since, we are worth a look. The day is part of the annual Rothwell Town Meeting, and volunteers from Rothwell Preservation Trust will be on-hand to conduct frequent and complimentary tours between 11 and 2pm.
The Tudor building is now almost 450 years old and is now beginning to show its age. The roof needs replacing and the stonework requires serious attention.
Donations are welcome for our Roof Appeal. Contactless, Cards and Cheques are accepted.
Thank you. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the day.
There will be more Heritage Open Days later in 2026 and we look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible. Keep an eye open for information around town, across social media and here on our website.
