Thanks for following the Rothwell Preservation Trust online.👏

Welcome to our November edition of ‘Trust News’ keeping you in the loop with Rothwell Preservation Trust’s activities.

“Up on the Roof!”

Thanks to all of you who visited the Market House for our Heritage Open Day – it was good to see you!

Trustees recently visited Kettering Cornerstone (Library) for a ‘roof repair tour’ by Matt Taylor, the NNC Heritage Manager and Wayne Gray, Site Manager from Contractor, Messenger.

Subsequent discussions and information-sharing have helped the Trust to be even more aware of our Project’s challenges, possible solutions and well as hints and tips for Grant applications.

L to R: RPT Team – Sue Johnson (Chair), Matt Garner (Vice-Chair) & Ann Palmer (Secretary)

If you know others who are interested and who aren’t on social media or the internet, let them know that if they’re passing the Market House, they’ll see similar information posted on the main door and around the perimeter in the next few days and for the rest of this month .👍

We’ll post as often as we need to, so that you’re kept fully informed about developments. 😊

As many of you know, the Market House urgently needs a new roof plus other major repairs and we need significant financial support. The Trust is actively involved in applying for Grants, but please consider donating to our future fundraising activities – we’ll be armed with buckets and we take cards too!

If you have any questions about the Trust and how we’re helping conserve our iconic Market House please get in touch and one of the RPT team will contact you 🤝
