Thanks to all of you who helped us celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Trust by visiting our Heritage Open Day at the Market House on Friday, 24 October.

We had visitors as we opened the doors at 3pm, right up until we closed at 7pm. The Trustees enjoyed answering all questions about Thomas Tresham’s gift to our Town, as well as hearing stories from earlier years when the Market House was the home of Rothwell Urban District Council, the Library and the Town Gaol!

Thanks too for the generous donations on the day – large or small, they were all equally appreciated. If you didn’t get around to visiting us then, by all means, use the link HERE to easily donate online.
If you couldn’t make it on Friday, they’ll be more Heritage Open Days in 2026 and we look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible.
If you want to be the first to hear of news about the Trust, details of the conservation programme for the Market House as well as our progress with Grants for the extensive work ahead, simply click on the ‘SUBSCRIBE’ button below or on any of our webpages.
