Whether you’ve lived in Rothwell all your life (and seen most of the existing pictures in various places!) or just moved in to the area, we hope there will be something for everyone. 👌

10 March – This week’s image 📷🤳🖼
Today, we present the THIRTEENTH in our series. Published in 1891, it shows the South Front of our Market House and is a rare photographic record of the building from over 130 years ago! The monochrome image is large for its time, measuring 35cm x 28cm (13.75 inches x 11 inches) and is attributed to Architect and Architectural Historian: J A Gotch F.S.A. F.R.I.B.A.
