Hello to all our supporters of the Rothwell Preservation Trust!

We’re now resting our ‘Fascinating Facts’ series for a while whilst we look for additional interesting nuggets of information – watch this space.

In its place, the Rothwell Preservation Trust is proud to announce the launch of our latest series across social media and website:

“From the Archives…” celebrating images of our iconic Market House through the years.

Whether you’ve lived in Rothwell all your life (and seen most of the existing pictures in various places!) or just moved in to the area, we hope there will be something for everyone. 👌

To begin our new series, our first picture is a watercolour painting of Rothwell’s Market House. Dated August 1, 1876, we currently don’t know the name of the artist, but if you do – let us know by dropping us a line!
